Travels in European Cities

Europe is full of rich history and vivid landmarks. It is no surprise many people flock there every year to experience the infinite amount attractions this continent has to offer. Three of the top countries people visit are France, Germany and Italy and the most visited city in each country is its capital.

Paris, France is home to the world famous Eiffel Tower. Standing 1,063 feet high it is one of the most recognizable structures on earth. With more than 200,000,000 visitors since its formation in 1889, it is also considered the most visited monument in the world that visitors have to pay to see. Besides the Eiffel Tower, tourists also come to the Louvre, home of the Mona Lisa and other Da Vinci works. At best you visit Paris Hotels, there are a lot. Something cheap and easy or some very spectacular.

Berlin, Germany is bursting with history, some good, and some bad. A lot of this history is documented in Berlin’s 170 museums, ranging from Ancient Egyptian artifacts to more modern artists. Because there is no definite center to this city, attractions can be found all over. The Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche, located in West Berlin, is a broken shell of a church, but it serves as a stark reminder of World War II less than a century ago. For an excellent world history lesson, Berlin is a must-see. Use a travel guide and you will find your way.

Rome, Italy is brimming with historical monuments that date back centuries. It is definitely suggested to visit St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, the Colosseum and the Catacombs. It is eerie and intriguing to think of how old these buildings are as you walk through them. Caesar’s Palace in Vegas or Key West Fishing cannot hold a candle to the experience of seeing Rome in person.
