Berlin, Germany is bursting with history, some good, and some bad. A lot of this history is documented in Berlin’s 170 museums, ranging from Ancient Egyptian artifacts to more modern artists. Because there is no definite center to this city, attractions can be found all over. The Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche, located in West Berlin, is a broken shell of a church, but it serves as a stark reminder of World War II less than a century ago. Rome, Italy is brimming with historical monuments that date back centuries. It is definitely suggested to visit St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, the Colosseum and the Catacombs. It is eerie and intriguing to think of how old these buildings are as you walk through them. Caesar’s Palace in Vegas or Key West Fishing cannot hold a candle to the experience of seeing Rome in person.
